On behalf of the CORE Scholarship Committee, we thank all the applicants (and their supporters) for applying to the scholarship and wish them the best of luck.
The goal of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to college-bound, undocumented, Latino students. We seek to support undocumented students that have met the rigorous academic requirements asked of them and hold the academic promise to achieve so much more.

No. Applicants for our "Que Llueva Café" Scholarship may not be current college students. Applicants must be or will be a high school/GED graduate who will enroll for the first time in an accredited college or university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the 2010-2011 academic year. Current students who will graduate in 2010 are eligible.
It is our goal to offer this scholarship each year
Depending on the number of applications we receive, it is our intention to make a decision on recipients and notify them all by June 2010. This may change dependent on number of applications we receive.
All recipients will be notified via a phone call. Once all recipients have been notified and confirmed, we will post an announcement on our home page of this notification. Additionally, and depending on volume of applications, we will make an attempt to email all applicants.
