Why become a CORE member? Here are just a few reasons:
You believe in the the work we are doing and in the principles that help guide this organization;
Joining an organization in the "early years" will permit lots of opportunities to help mold what it will look like in the future and YOU can be part of that;
You want your volunteer work to be meaningful and have direct impact in the Chicano/Latino community;
The people involved in CORE are humane individuals that believe that no one should be denied an education and YOU are, too.
CORE Members can participate in a number of programs such as:
Fundraising for our Que Llueva Café Scholarship
Introducing, developing, and leading new CORE programs
Chairing CORE committees
Coordinating CORE campaigns
Creating research initiatives and programs
